Wooster Heights is committed to the belief of life long learning for all students. We envision staff, family and community cooperatively working together to help all students succeed. As a staff we are providing students with a variety of quality learning opportunities to help promote student success. Our building serves 296 children in grades kindergarten through six. Wooster Heights was rated effective by the state of Ohio on the 2009-2010 report card, meeting 9 of 10 indicators.

The Wooster Heights Parent’s club continues to help our students by purchasing Numonics Boards for our classrooms. The club provides healthy snacks for the fall and spring Ohio Achievement Assessments. Students are invited to participate in a fall fun night at the Garden Gate Farm Market and Greenhouse. Thanks to their efforts, students will participate in COSI on Wheels which will come to our building on Wednesday, October 6. The Parent’s Club meets the third Tuesday of every month at 7:00 p.m. in room 208.

Mrs. Walter is in charge of our November Book Fair. This will take place in the library during parent/teacher conference week. There will also be a fair for Wooster Heights at Barnes and Noble Bookstore in the spring.

The Mansfield Noon Optimist’s Club has been very generous to the Wooster Height’s building. We appreciate all of the contributions they have made to assist the Wooster Height’s students and staff.
